A summer greeting, and a poem, at the threshold of the season...
August first, half way between summer solstice and the autumn equinox,
is upon us.
Time, tradition has it, to honour the start of harvest season,
and gather nourishment to sustain us through the fall
and into winter.
Time perhaps to honour the summer heat
and be still....
